The science inside

Five layers between your phone and you.

Metashield isn't a sticker with a logo. It's a laminated Japanese-nanotechnology shielding system — each layer engineered for a different job, bonded into a patch 0.4 mm thin.

01

Nano-ceramic top coat

Scratch-proof, fingerprint-resistant finish rated for the lifespan of your phone. IP68 sealed.

02

Silver-mesh deflection lattice

A woven micro-mesh of silver-coated fibres that reflects incident radiofrequency energy — the first line of defence.

03

Ferrite absorption core

Sintered ferrite composite converts residual RF energy into trace heat, dissipating it harmlessly across the patch surface.

04

Graphene dispersion film

Spreads localized energy evenly across the patch area, eliminating hot spots and keeping the patch cool to the touch.

05

Aerospace adhesive base

VHB-grade bond that holds through heat, cold, and years of daily use — yet removes cleanly with gentle heat.

Why a patch works

Shielding where it matters most.

Your phone radiates in all directions, but your body only occupies one of them. In a pocket, against your ear, on your nightstand — the same side of the phone faces you for hours at a time.

Metashield covers that side. The lattice reflects and absorbs the energy directed through it, while the antenna paths at the top and edges of the phone stay untouched — which is why your signal doesn't drop.

It's the same principle used in RF shielding for laboratories and hospital equipment, scaled down to 4.1 grams.

Methodology

How we test — and publish it.

Most shielding products show you a scary diagram. We show you the measurement setup.

Phase A

Anechoic chamber

Testing happens in an accredited RF anechoic chamber — a room lined with absorbers so only the direct signal path is measured.

Phase B

Through-material sweep

A calibrated transmitter and receiver sweep 700 MHz to 6 GHz, first through open air, then through the patch. The difference is the attenuation.

Phase C

Real-world validation

We don't stop at the chamber. Every design is re-checked on real phones, carried in real pockets, to confirm the lab numbers hold up in daily use.

Cellular low-band · 700–900 MHz38 dB
Cellular mid-band · 1.8–2.6 GHz42 dB
Wi-Fi / Bluetooth · 2.4 GHz40 dB
